Each piece of fabric is hand-drawn with great attention to detail using canting for every dot and line of the motif. As a result, no two pieces of fabric will be exactly the same. The motifs may look similar, but the strokes will never be identical. Variations in motif details or color may also occur during the dyeing process.

Handcrafted Traditionally
The traditional batik tulis process involves drawing on cotton fabric with canting and hot wax as a color barrier, followed by dyeing with batik dye (which can be natural). The dyeing process may take over three cycles to complete.
