Each piece of fabric is meticulously and carefully drawn with a canting (traditional batik pen) for every dot and line of the pattern, ensuring no two pieces are exactly the same. The patterns can be similar, but the strokes will never be identical. Differences in the motif or color may also occur during the dyeing process.

Made manually by hand using traditional methods.
Traditional batik process: The fabric is drawn on cotton using a canting and hot wax (malam) as a color barrier, then dyed using batik dyes (which can include natural colors). The dyeing process can take more than three cycles to complete.
